CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WRKN) — A crash involving multiple motorcycles closed a portion of Interstate 24 Saturday morning in Clarksville, officials said.
According to a 9:16 a.m. email from the Clarksville Police Department, the crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-24 near exit 4 on Saturday, April 6.

Authorities reported the crash involved multiple motorcycles. However, it remains unclear how many people were injured.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) responded to the scene to Saturday morning to investigate. In a statement to News 2, THP described the incident as an "injury crash" and said it remained under investigation.

Just before 10 a.m., the Clarksville Police Department said all lanes had reopened. No other information about the crash was immediately released.
