CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Clarksville police are looking for a semi-truck driver who ran another driver off the side of the road Monday during an alleged road rage incident.

The incident happened around 1:48 p.m. near Exit 8 on Interstate 24, according to police. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, was driving his semi-truck along the interstate when he reportedly side-swiped another semi-truck.

The collision caused the other driver to leave the roadway, cross over the westbound on-ramp of Exit 8 and head into the tree line. Authorities said the woman who was forced off the roadway was "shaken up" by the experience and sustained minor injuries.

As of Monday afternoon, investigators were still looking for the second semi that was involved in the crash. Officials said the man drove off afterward. According to police, the semi-truck should be recognizable by damage to the right side of its trailer.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol was in route to the crash site Monday afternoon and will be investigating the incident further.
