CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A homicide investigation is underway after a Fort Campbell soldier was found dead in a Clarksville residence Saturday.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to an ambulance at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Tiny Town Road. Once inside, they found a deceased female. Police are looking for any neighbors who may have surveillance footage of the area.

That woman has been confirmed to be 23-year-old Fort Campbell Private First Class Katia Duenas-Aguilar, according to the 101st Airborne Division Public Affairs office. Duenas-Aguilar was a member of the division's Combat Aviation Brigade, the Army said.

Sources tell News 2 that Duenas-Aguilar was a young mother.
