CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man wanted for first-degree murder in connection with a 2019 deadly shooting in Clarksville has been captured by U.S. Marshals in Memphis, according to authorities.
Turnity Rossell, 22, was taken into custody on Thursday, Oct. 17. A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 4, charging him with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. Officials said the case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force on Sept. 24.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Rossell is accused of being involved in the Oct. 28, 2019 shooting death of 22-year-old Serdyrin Brown. Authorities reported Clarksville police found Brown in the area of 16 Hand Village Circle and determined that he had been "shot there in an incident."
The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Task Force alongside the Shelby County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Team and Memphis Police Fugitive Apprehension Team located Rossell near the intersection of South Mendenhall and Colony on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Officials said Rossell initially tried to lie about his identity; however, "he soon stopped trying to mislead the Task Force investigators."
Rossell was taken to the Shelby County Detention Center without incident, according to authorities. No additional details were immediately released.
