CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a woman was stabbed at an apartment in Clarksville Thursday morning.
Officers received a 911 call from a woman saying she had been stabbed around 2:20 a.m.
According to a release, officers arrived to find the victim in the roadway in the 2200 block of McCormick Lane. She was taken to the emergency room at Tennova Healthcare for treatment of unknown injuries.
The victim was able to tell investigators the stabbing occurred inside one of the apartments near where she was found. Officers went to the apartment and found it was unoccupied.
Officers have secured the apartment complex's parking lot and the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call 911 immediately.
