CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — After some severe flooding impacts, the City of Clarksville is upgrading an intersection.
City officials have long been planning an improvement project along Rollow Lane and Dunlop Lane related to stormwater management. A roundabout is planned for the intersection to improve traffic flow and overall safety.
The intersection has already been closed for flood mitigation work, but the city also plans to get started on the roundabout project at the same time. Officials said that working on both projects at once would help prevent future roadway closures.
Since construction has been expected to last several months. Detour routes, which have not yet been announced, will be marked.
